The Lions Club asks you to please donate your old eyeglasses so that others can see. You can place them in any of the designated boxes in churches and businesses all over town. The glasses will go to under-developed countries where they will help someone see.
Farmers who lost at least 30% of their production due to the hail and high winds on June 17, 2009 are eligible for FSA loans. Please submit your application as soon as possible. Deadline is July 23, 2010. Contact the FSA office at 208 West Broadway in Brownfield. 637-7563.
