SCHOOLS

Meadow:

• Thursday through Saturday -- Junior Varsity Girls will be in a tournament with Sands and Varsity Girls and Boys will be in a tournament with Anton
• Monday -- Junior High Basketball will be at Southland at 6pm; LEARN will meet with Seniors
• Tuesday-- High School Basketball will play at Plains at 5pm; Elementary and Junior High UIL will be at Whitharral

Wellman-Union:

• Thursday through Saturday -- High School Basketball tournament at Tatum; JV tournament at Sands
• Monday -- Reindeer Lane Gift Shop begins at 8am and lasts all week; Junior High Basketball at New Home beginning at 6pm
• Elementary Christmas Program at 6pm

• Open House at Ad Venture Marketing from 12:30 - 4:30 Wed., Dec. 3.
• Open House at Main Street Hardware and BISD Administration Building Fri., Dec. 5.
• WWII remembrance Sun., Dec. 7, at the VFW at 10am.
• Plain Talk will be presenting a Free Workshop for Middle School and High School Students on "How Well Do I Communicate with Others?" on Tuesday, Dec. 16 from 6:30 to 8pm at the Alamo. For more information call Becky Valenzuela at 637-3712.
• Koats for Kids -- Cleaning your closet to get ready for the new season. Drop your unwanted coats by Ad-Venture Marketing or Brownfield Federal Credit Union. Help our kids stay warm this winter.

• The Lions Club asks you to please donate your old eyeglasses so that others can see. You can place them in any of the designated boxes in churches and businesses all over town. The glasses will go to under-developed countries where the they will help someone see.
